Livin' it up in LA

Heyja.

Yesterday I went to Hollywood, alone, and visited this supercool museum called the Hollywood Museum. Everything on display was 'Old Hollywood' style, dresses from Marilyn Monroe and Liz Taylor, old movie costumes, movie props, rare interviews with celebrities etc.
I'm a little obsessed with old Hollywood. I've been the biggest Marilyn Monroe fan since I was like 9, so I loved this museum. There was a special exhibition on Jean Harlow, who was Marilyn Monroe's inspiration. They both had bleach-blonde hair and were extremely attractive, bombshell-actresses. Sadly, they both died, long before their time.
It was so inspiring to see all the fabulous outfits and pictures as well as interviews with these actresses. The glam dresses, furs, feathers, hats, shoes and handbags - so sophisticated, yet so cool.

Today we drove to Malibu! It was amazing. We spent time at the beach looking at the beautiful sea and the amazing landscape.  Then we went to this small, supercute, outside mall and the stores there were so Malibu-style, surf chic. After a great day in Malibu we drove to Santa Monica to watch the sun go down. It was probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, a lot of people got together by the pier and watched the sun go down, like it was diving into the ocean
my iPhone's camera doesn't do the sunset justice, compared to how beautiful it was with my own eyes. But anyways, the amazing sunset in Santa Monica
